Last updated: April 2026. These terms govern your use of Fixhosts.com and the scanning services operated by Suffix Security LLC.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you ("Customer") and Suffix Security LLC, a US limited liability company ("Fixhosts", "we", "us"). By placing an order or using the Fixhosts portal you accept these Terms in full.
You may only submit IP addresses, hostnames, or ranges that you own outright or have explicit written authorisation to scan. Scanning targets without authorisation is unlawful and a material breach of these Terms. Fixhosts reserves the right to terminate your account immediately and without refund for any suspected unauthorised scanning.
Payment is processed by Stripe. For scan orders, your payment method is authorised at the time of order and captured on successful completion of the scan — including where the scan finds nothing to report. Fees are only released without charge where the scan itself cannot be completed due to a platform or infrastructure fault on our side ("Scan Failure"). Annual subscription fees are non-refundable once the subscription period has commenced.
Fixhosts operates on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for delays caused by third-party infrastructure. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated via the portal.
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement. Raw scan data is destroyed with the ephemeral VM on scan completion. Structured findings are retained in your portal for the period defined by your subscription tier.
Fixhosts uses AI/ML technologies — including third-party models such as Claude and our own proprietary tools — to generate vulnerability assessments, severity ratings, and remediation guidance. This content is provided for informational purposes only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. It is not a substitute for professional security advice or independent verification — consult a qualified security professional if you are in any doubt before acting on a finding.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fixhosts's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the fees you actually paid for the event giving rise to the claim. Fixhosts is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes are first subject to thirty (30) days' good-faith negotiation, then binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (or, for UK/EU customers electing it, the ICC), except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the portal. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
